Well, we have some. And we want more!
We’re not sure if anyone is still checking this page at all, but we’re putting out a call for photos of our wedding and pre- and post- wedding activities. Our photographer is still working on our professional photos, but we do have 2 albums of photos from family members (Mike Peterson and Laurie Meng, THANK YOU!!) and we’d love to see yours too.

If you have not already, PLEASE let us know if you plan to be at our wedding or not! Also, the motel rooms are going very quickly and may already be gone as I type, so call now if you still need a reservation. Each room has two queen beds so several people can comfortably share a room if that’s an option for you. Rob and Lynn plan to stay at the motel in Waterloo after the wedding, so presumably some late night post- partying will be happening there.
The weather has been very mild so far this summer. Please cross your fingers, your toes, your arms, send up prayers or meditations or a cool weather dance that this continues. We really hope for a lovely, cool day!

Here are some photos of the Mayers’ home where the big day will be. The trees will have leaves by then; these photos are from March. Lynn’s Aunt Renae , Uncle Tony, their 4 sons, and many other family members and friends built this home. (The covered bridge was already there.)
We have a date!!!
We’re tired of waiting for word from others to help us decide what our plan should be. So, we’re just going to pick a date. The date is…drumroll please……

Rob and Lynn are going to have a big wedding/party/commitment ceremony/shindig/blowout in 2008!!
Many details are up the air, as you are probably aware.
What is certain is that we will be having a short ceremony followed by a long party and we will be inviting all of our family and close friends. The entire celebration will be held in Waterloo, IL at the lovely home of Lynn’s Aunt Renae and Uncle Tony Mayer. There will be music, there will be food and drink, there will be wonderful and amazing people, and hopefully there will be fantastic weather as it will all be outdoors.
We look forward to updating everyone when we know more.
